By
January 24, 2023

When it comes to face oil, many imagine oil gives the feeling of greasiness, and breakout, and creates a shiny film over the skin. If you ever thought to put face oil can bring breakout or sticky-ness to the face. Just remember ancient India used sesame oil and ancient Egyptian used moringa oil to keep the skin vibrate and impeccable. Key to remember not all oils are the same, some oils give a good layer of occlusive, others are lighter, some are high in antioxidants, some contain vitamins, and some are antimicrobial or anti-inflammatory.

As we age our skin loses its ability to produce Sebum (oil) which leads to dry skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. Vegetable oils mostly are a good source of nourishment. It provides nourishment to the skin and lock-in hydration. It fixes the broken skin barrier function which prevents drying out and improves skin elasticity; it helps restore moisture and encourage glowing skin. It balances the excess oil in the oily skin. They are the perfect primer for makeup. Vegetable oil consists of lipids which absorbed quickly by the skin because the skin’s outer layer consists of lipid content that is similar to the vegetable lipids and due to this nature of the oil; it acts as a delivery agent of the selective actives to be transported in the deeper layer of the skin, where they do their work.

A couple of drops bring many possibilities

Pure form –

3-4 drops of pure oil can be used in the moist face to give moisture.

Serum –

Mixed it well with specific skin care serum, oil acts like a delivery agent and delivers the actives to the deeper layer of the skin and also holds the moisture in the skin. Tip for smoother and firmer-looking skin, apply 3-4 drops of Night Repair Oil after applying Line Repair Boto Serum.

Extra Protection –

Winter needs extra protection; apply 3-4 drops of oil over any specific skincare cream to give extra protection. Tip to remember if you apply the cream over the oil then it will just sit on top of the skin because the molecule size of the oil is bigger than the cream.

Glow –

Mixed with the foundation, this will give an even appearance and glow; it can also be used as a highlighter for cheeks and lips.

Night Routine –

Use it as the last step of your night skincare routine, allowing the time for skin to penetrate the oil slowly and providing protection throughout the day.

Makeup Remover

Oils can dissolve the eye makeup, and face makeup, massaging the face and eye with oils and removing with makeup remover cotton pads. Tip for removing the makeup flawlessly, massage the face with oils and remove it with “Sweep reusable pads” by GoodSkn and wash it and use it again.

Vegetable Oils come from different parts of nature which differ in their fatty acid spectrum. Oils have short and long fatty acid chains. High Quality and Cold pressed oils can have many benefits for the skin, muscles, and tissues. Vegetable oils have many effects on the skin, depending on the skin type. A mixture of different oils can have the desired results. A combination of long and short-chain fatty acid oils can provide broad-spectrum nutrients to the skin.

The preference for the face and body is a short fatty acid chain that easily absorbs and leaves the skin soft without a greasy feel.

Long-chain fatty acids

The oils are preferred for massage because they stay longer on the skin and provide elasticity.

Vegetable Oils are divided into dry, semi-dry, and non-dry categories according to their speed of reaction with air. It means how fast oil can dry the moment its contact with oxygen. There are no good or bad. A mixture of different oils can provide balance and broad-spectrum moisture and nutrients.
