Contamination is a real danger with cosmetics products. Bacteria don’t start to develop their own; this external aggressor comes from outside. It’s dangerous to put bacteria-obsessed cosmetics on the face, it can create skin infections.

Why put skin at risk, if we can focus on preserving the purity of the products from the start then we can enjoy the product till the last drop. Certain products can be retrieved from such contamination. These anti-contamination tips will keep bacteria out of your products and maintain the products fresh till the last drop.

1)      Use the applicator –

This will provide an extra layer of protection by creating a distance between the product and potential contaminations.

We included an applicator in all our jarred products.

2)      Wash hands before dipping them into the skincare products –

Every time you dip your fingers into the product, you introduce new bacteria. This external aggressor comes from outside and hands are the carrier through these bacteria can easily travel into the products. Washing hands ahead of time can cut down the contaminants.

3)     Store the product in a cool, dark place –

Bacteria love a warm environment and humidity, keep away from heat and avoid bathroom cupboards. Always keep it tightly closed the lid on the products and keep them away from direct sunlight.

4)      Don’t mix the applicator –

Don’t share an applicator with other products. Using the same applicator for many products can easily spread the bacteria and containments.  Keep a separate applicator for each product.

5)      Don’t share the products –

We get excited with new products and happily started to share the products but it’s an easy way to travel the bacteria from each other.

6)      Expiry products –

Don’t use the product after passing the expiry date. Throw out the expired products. One can check the expiry date on the products. If don’t sure about the expiry date then check the product if the product is separated or smells weirder than before then it’s time to throw the product.

7)      Gua Sha & facial roller –

If the product is washable then it is a good idea to wash the product with soap which can kill the bacteria and wipe them immediately.
